RESOURCES

THE WAY BACK INN / GRATEFUL HOUSE

The Way Back Inn has historically provided a high level clinical treatment program specializing in addressing the needs of men and women suffering from both chemical dependence (Alcohol and Drugs) and Gambling Dependence. The program emphasizes treating the whole person, not just their illness. We are committed to treating each client with dignity and respect and to develop individualized treatment plans.

The overall goal of our Residential Extended Care program is to help the clients achieve a healthy lifestyle without the use of illicit drugs and /or alcohol, or the need for excessive gambling. Our clients are required to search and obtain full time employment, follow a daily schedule, and engage in activities that develop daily living skills.

Clients learn time management, budgeting and also participate in building a savings plan. If so needed, we also have the resources to help our clients obtain their GED, and have a long working history with Triton Community College, and the resources that they offer. The Primary emphasis of day to day activities is based on a rapid return to everyday living as a responsible family member, contributing community member and becoming more self-sufficient.
